“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” (Galatians 5:22-23, ESV)

This August through October, Project:Fracture is examining the fruits of the Christian life with our study The Fruit of the Spirit: Cultivating Christian Character, by Stuart Briscoe. This 10-week study takes a look at how we as Christians can live out our faith on a daily basis by bearing the fruits of our salvation, and then discovering the benefits that those fruits will have in us as we grow in the Spirit.

You can order your copy of the discussion guide at Project:Fracture for $6 on a Thursday night (just talk with one of your friendly neighborhood P:F leaders). Get ready to get gardening! (Well, Spiritually speaking…)

Does your prayer life feel a little stale? Neglected? Hurried? In our early Summer 2011 study, we’re delving into how we can change all that and make prayer a life-changing staple of our days. Guided by the study Praying with Power: The Lord’s Prayer, by John Ortberg, Kevin G. Harney, and Sherry Harney, we’re breaking down the most infamous prayer of them all, and why Christ used The Lord’s Prayer as the example to show all of His followers how to pray.

You can order your copy of the discussion guide at Project:Fracture for $6 on a Thursday night (just talk with one of your friendly neighborhood P:F leaders)… and get ready to learn the power of prayer.

Five Things Every Christian Needs to Grow
by R C Sproul

“People need to maintain a diet of nutritious foods if their bodies are to grow and thrive. But what do the people of God need in order to grow and thrive in the Christian faith? In this book, noted theologian and pastor R.C. Sproul identifies five of the crucial “nutrients” that promote spiritual growth: Bible study, prayer, worship, service, and stewardship. With biblical insight and practical wisdom, Dr. Sproul teaches Christians how to maintain a balanced “diet” that will lead to growth and mature Christian living.”
